Hey! We are the Student Council We want to talk to you guys about Saint Theresa Catholic Schools Week and what it means. Abby and Luna - to you! Catholic Schools Week is a time to reflect on the values that make our school community unique. It's a time to celebrate Faith, Academic Excellence and the sense of community that binds us together. Throughout this week we will be engaging in various activities to showcase the wonderful aspects of our school. We will also be having a amazing community service project. The details will be talking to you guys by Lily and Keira - to you! Hello! We, the Student Council, have decided that there is a grave need to help those in the foster care system. For our community service project for this Catholic Schools Week we have teamed with ChildHelp, an agency that helps kids entering foster care. Often these children entering foster care have little to no items. On some occasions, the child goes to a new home in only the clothes they are wearing. As kids many of us had comfort items that we were attached to. Maybe it was a certain stuffed animal or blanket. We want children entering foster care to also have items that they can call their own. We need your help to gather items and make a positive impact in our community. During the month of January we will be collecting items such as backpacks, stuffed animals, and throw blankets. We will also be collecting personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs and brushes during Catholic Schools Week. We want to help these kids feel as much comfort as possible in these times of uncertainty. Back to you guys! That is truly amazing and we hope you guys can help us reach our goal of helping these children. Yes, during the Catholic Schools Week we will have a theme for every day and free dress every day! Remember to keep it appropriate! We hope that you guys will participate all throughout the week. We will kick off Catholic Schools Week with mass. We are asking our Saint Theresa School Students to participate mass. If you would like to be in choir, read, or usher please contact Ms. Paz or Mr. Keno. We would love your participation. If you'd like to come please wear your dress uniform church starts at 10:30. We will end Catholic Schools Week with a pep rally We will have a lot of fun and lot of games like the three-legged race you tell them everything oh sorry I forgot All you need to know is that this week will be full of fun. Are you guys ready for the Catholic Schools Week?!
