Sibling Tuition Assistance: No action is required to receive the sibling discount.
Tuition Assistance Program: Once again for the 2019-2020 academic year, a one-time $1,000 scholarship will be offered to new families that enroll in St. Theresa Catholic School. Families can apply to multiple tuition assistance programs offered by the school. It is highly recommended that families begin to collect the tax information that is required by the various programs. The programs that are offered do have cut off dates that are adhered to by each of the following programs:
Bishop’s Scholarship: Funding for this program is provided through the Annual Bishop’s Golf Tournament. All 25 Catholic Schools in the Diocese have families that apply for the awards. Awards range from $400.00 to as high as $1,000. Determination of awards and awardee is done by a diocesan committee. The awards are announced in March.
Bishop’s Scholarship Application: Bishop’s Scholarship applications will be available on or near December 1, 2018. All applications and supporting documentation MUST be received in the school office no later than January 31, 2019. There are no exceptions to this deadline.
St. Theresa Catholic School Tuition Assistance Program: Any family wishing to be considered for tuition assistance must register using the SMART AID tuition assistance website. Families needing assistance should first contact the school office. There is a $35.00 processing fee that is payable to SMART AID. The application window for the 2019-2020 school year begins January 31, 2019. In order to complete your SMART AID application, you will need to have your tax information available. All current St. Theresa Catholic School families must have their SMART AID application completed no later than May 1, 2019.
Tuition assistance will not be awarded without the required documentation submitted to SMART AID. Once your application is processed and received by St. Theresa Catholic School, the final step in the process is submitting your application to the Parish Finance Council to determine your grant. You will receive a letter with the assigned award amount for 2019-20 school year no later than June 15, 2019. If you accept the award, parent(s) MUST sign and return the required paperwork outlining the grant stipulation along with a signed Tuition Agreement and registration fee. Funds for Tuition Assistance are limited.
