Welcome to New Families
St. Theresa School and Parish Community warmly welcome all of our new families to the 2018/19 school year. We are so glad that you have joined our school community and we hope your experience thus far has been a positive one. From our first-rate teachers to our involved and supportive parent community and our motivated student body, our message to you is, “Welcome and Thank You for Choosing STS to Provide a Catholic Education for Your Child”.
Please visit our school bulletin board near the amphitheater to see each of our new families featured over the next several weeks. Sprinkled in among the pictures of new families are some of our families that have been at St. Theresa’s for a very long time. They, along with all of our school families, are a wonderful source of stories, mentoring and friendship.
Our families come to STS from many backgrounds and locales and are unified by a desire to provide their children with a top-flight Catholic education in an environment that supports learning and the development of Catholic values. To all of the parents that have been at STS for more than a year, please take a few minutes to extend yourself in welcome to the new child and parents from your children’s class. Invite them for coffee or a playdate – it means a lot to a new family to be included.
Volunteering is a great way to make friends and learn about the many fine traditions at STS. See the weekly newsletter from our Principal, Mr. Keno, and the bulletin board for volunteer opportunities. Keep an eye out for Sign-Up Genius emails that invite you to volunteer for specific events.
